Six bullet-riddled bodies of unidentified people have been recovered in the early morning hours of Saturday in Mohmand tribal region. The official of political administration said that the bodies were found in a mountainous area of Mosalkore, an area of Michnai, in the outskirts of EkkaGhound, which were later handed over to the local administration. They had been gunned down, he added.
However, security source said that they were killed during a clash with security forces in Mosalkore area of EkkaGhound tehsil. They further told that militants attacked security forces in retaliation six militants were killed in the clash. Local administration has shifted the bodies of six persons to Agency headquarter hospital, Ghalanai for identification and postmortem. An eyewitnesses in the Ghalanai hospital told that the dead, who are said to be between 22 to 35 years of age, were brought to the hospital. It will be mentioned here that a day earlier two suicide bombers attacked FC training School in the Michni area in which one Frontier Constabulary personnel was killed three others injured, when the bombers blew himself on the entry point.
