President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday expressed optimism that Kashmir and Palestine disputes would be resolved in accordance with aspirations of people of the regions. The President said this while talking to a delegation of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council (AJ&KC) who headed by Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad.
The President stated that the process of progress in Azad Kashmir has started and people should play their role to make it successful. The President underlined that Pakistan will continue to highlight Kashmir issue at international level for its just resolution.
The President said that economic stability of Pakistan will bring closer the destination of freedom for Kashmiris. The President emphasised that youth of AJK should be persuaded towards acquiring modern education in sciences and information technology so that they could ably contribute in the progress and development of the region.
President Mamnoon Hussain underlined that Pakistan's future was bright and called for rejecting elements spreading despondency. The President said people should play their role in completion of ongoing development projects.
The President stated that great transformations would occur in the world during the next few years. He added that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project had started bearing fruits and economic activities at Gwadar Port have begun.
The President stressed on working hard and with dedication to achieve the ultimate goal of collective development and make Pakistan join the ranks of developed countries adding that secret to progress lies in focusing on one's work and not to interfere in others' affairs. The President said
that education and health budgets would be further raised.
