PMEX daily trading report

On Wednesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,135. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.03 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,211. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.81 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 3.21 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 788.29 million, silver PKR 181.39 million, copper PKR 37.31 million and Brent crude oil PKR 4.79 million. In addition to this, in agricultural commodities, 12 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 4.85 million were also traded.
