District administration of Multan has refused PPP to stage a public meeting in the city over prevailing security situation. PPP had sought permission from DC Multan Nadir Chattha to stage a rally at Qasim Bagh Cricket Stadium. Additional deputy commissioner has stated that the district administration could not allow the party to hold the rally in the city due to the recent surge in the terror activities in the country.
