Interesting books, classical music, late breakfasts and good tea come under one roof at Chaaye Khana, which was opened at F-11 Markaz on Monday. The new cafe was crowded with people on its first day, with several on the waiting list for a table. The menu of Chaaye Khana includes different kinds of omelettes, delicious French toast, piping hot parathas, snacks, desserts and a lot of tea flavours.
Owner of Chaaye Khana, Shahzad Bajwa said that the specialty of Chaaye Khan at F-11 was its breakfast apart from friendly environment. "It is my first experience to run Chaaye Khana (cafe) but I am satisfied with the expertise and hospitality of my staff," he added.
Chaaye Khana not only offers absolutely delicious breakfast, Shahzad said, but it all comes at great prices also. "You really can't get a better breakfast at so cheap rate anywhere else, which is one of the reasons it attracts the youth," he added. Moreover, it's all day breakfast feature resonates with those who wake up very late and yet crave for tea and parathas.
Sajid, an official of an advertisement agency toldBusiness Recorder that there was a dire need for a good cafe in F-11 Markaz. "We needed a breakfast place and this is such a good addition to the area," he added. The interior work of new Chaaye Khana is done beautifully. The bookshelf on one corner not only adds a lot of character, but also includes some very tastefully picked books. Youth dominated the place but there were tables where older customers were enjoying their cup of tea, while others seem to have hosted work meetings. The idea behind this cafe is to give people a space where they can come for work meetings, get-togethers, or to simply enjoy good books and a great cup of tea.
