PFA teams inspect milk at cities' entry, exit points

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) field teams destroyed 300,000 liters of milk during last three months while checking it at the entry and exit points of different big cities of the province. 'We have been inspecting milk at entry or exit points of the cities and in next phase we will be checking sale points of milk in the cities,' said the Punjab Food Department Bilal Yaseen while talking to media persons here on Sunday.
The Minister was checking the milk entering Lahore from Sahiwal and Okara at Raiwind Road. He said that hundreds of dairy farms owners and milkmen were also issued warnings and handed over heavy fines for supplying substandard milk.
