ICE Canada canola futures rose on Wednesday for a third straight session, lifted by strength in soybeans and technical buying. Canola pared gains in late trading on commercial hedges, a trader said. March canola gained $3.70 at $524 per tonne.
Most-active May canola added $3.70 to $531.70 per tonne, touching its highest price since mid-December. March-May canola spread traded 9,075 times. Chicago Board of Trade March soybeans rose on export hopes and fund buying.
