The government of Pakistan handed over four allegedly Daesh volunteers to Afghan authorities at Torkham border on Tuesday who had been detained by the Pakistani security agencies. Sharing details at a press conference held at Michni Check point, Assistant Political Agent (APA), Landi Kotal, Niaz Mohammad said the four accused members of the outfit Daesh organisation of Afghanistan had crossed into Pakistan territory and took refuge.
They had got injured while fighting with Afghan forces, Niaz maintained, however he added the security officials on tip-off took timely action and nabbed them in Peshawar. "As a good well gesture, the arrested Daesh men are being handed over to Afghanistan government to deal them as per law," APA added. He reiterated pledge of the Pak government for taking indiscriminate action against all banned organisations in the ongoing war of terror and the offence would continue till their elimination.
Through effective Pak-Afghan Border Management plan that was need of time, illegal penetration from Afghanistan via Torkham border was barred, APA Niaz Mohammad said. The netted Daesh volunteers who were handed over to Afghan government were shown to the media and identified as (1) Javed Khan s/o Muhammad Umar, (2) Niamatullah alias Hamidullah, (3) Taleymun s/o Allah Nazar of Chaparihar valley, and (4) Safiullah alias Khan Baba s/o Ainullah of Hafizaan, Chaparihar, Afghanistan.
