2 minor sisters were killed and their mother sustained critical injuries when roof of a house collapsed in Zakha Khel area of Landi Kotal Tehsil, Khyber Agency on Sunday. According to political administration, the roof of Munawar Khan Afridi's house collapsed due to heavy snowfall. 2 minor sisters and their mother were concealed alive when roof of their house collapsed. Munawar's 2 minor daughters were died and his wife suffered critical injuries in the incident.
Local residents and khasadar personnel reached the spot immediately after the tragic incident and retrieved the bodies.
Similarly, roof of a house collapsed in Khar tehsil of Bajaur Agency killing a man identified as Ramdad Khan.
The death toll reached to 18 in related incidents during the last 24 hours in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
