Maple Leaf Cement has again been declared as joint second runner-up in the SAFA Best Corporate Report Award 2015. According to a company announcement here on Monday, the ceremony to give away the award held in Dhaka last Friday. It is the second time that ICAP nominated name of the Maple Leaf Cement for the said SAFA awards due to our Best Corporate Report.
This step up is a testimonial to that company does strive for getting better and better in transparent and accurate financial reporting and to compliance with the best accounting standards and practices. Also, this award has strengthened company's resolve to be eventually the best in the area of corporate reporting.
It is worth mentioning that Maple Leaf Cement is one of the only two companies in the SAFA competition in the category of manufacturing from Pakistan as a whole. Thus the Company competed with much larger corporations in Pakistan in terms of best corporate reporting.-PR
