It is a moment of great pride for all of us that Millat Tractors has added yet another feather to its cap by indigenously developing Emission Compliant Diesel Engines for its tractors, power generating sets and fork lift trucks.
The first "Emission Compliant Engine Development Project" of the country has been successfully completed by a team of Pakistani engineers. MTL has made a sizeable investment in this project and has established a Green Engine R&D Lab exclusively for the designing, development and testing of these engines.
Once these engines go into commercial production Millat will be in a position to meet the international requirements for emission compliant agriculture tractors which will help us to further promote our business in the global market. Currently the Company is exporting tractors in the unregulated markets of Africa through AGCO Corporation.
The guiding principles for us have always been innovation, competitiveness, customer satisfaction and fulfilment of our social obligations. Each day we reiterate our resolve to adhere religiously to these values and leverage them to conquer new frontiers.
I hope and pray to Almighty Allah that we attain further such milestones and continue to succeed in surmounting the challenges of the future while fulfilling our role to the utmost in the economic development and progress of Pakistan, especially in the farm mechanisation sector.
