Marriott Hotel organised a PR event to celebrate this Chinese New Year 2017 is the year of the tenth Chinese zodiac, the rooster. However, this is the year of the fire rooster. Fire Rooster year comes once every 60-year cycle. This Chinese New Year is the 4714th year and is dominated by the orientation towards progress, honour and maximum integrity. People born in the year of the Fire rooster are particularly Trustworthy, with a strong sense of timekeeping and responsibility at work.
Last night in honour of this event, the General Manager of Islamabad Marriott Hotel delivered a brief speech and introduced our new Chinese Chef, Zhou Bin. Zhou has over 30years of experience in making authentic Chinese cuisines all over the word and has specially crafted imperial menus throughout this week to indulge all Chinese lovers. He also invited the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Sun Weidong to say a few words about this event. The guest of honour was the Chinese Ambassador with his better half.
