Committees to probe Axact, Khanani-Kalia cases

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Wednesday constituted two committees for further investigation into Javed Khanani and Kalia money laundering case and Axact scam. According to an official, the agency constituted these committees following the directives of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. FIA Deputy Director Jamil Ahmad will head both the committees and these committees will consist of four members, he added.
He said the members of the committees included Assistant Director Zia-ul-Islam, Assistant Director Muhammad Sarwar and Assistant Director Muhammad Usman. The main objective of the committees was to take the investigation of the both cases to logical conclusion, he added.
