President Mamnoon Hussain, congratulating General Zubair Mahmood Hayat on his appointment as Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, on Tuesday hoped that the country would benefit from his professional acumen and expertise. The president said this while talking to newly appointed General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
President Mamnoon Hussain lauded the contribution and sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces during the operation Zarb-e-Azb which has helped to curb militancy and restore peace in the country. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat thanked the president for his good wishes and said Pakistan Armed Forces were fully capable of defending the motherland and serving the nation.
