In order to engage private sector in aviation sector, Arshad Malik SI (M) chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Board (PACB) held a meeting with the members of Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) on the other day.
According to Chairman PAAPAM Mashood Ali Khan, Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Air Marshal SI (M) Arshad Malik hosted a lunch for PAAPAM members at PAF base Faisal in order to engage private sector in avionics. He said the chairman PACB during a meeting gave an overview about the deals signed during the exhibition and briefed about the ability to localize aircraft assemblies required in military and trainer planes produced at the complex.
Mashood said that Air Marshal said that Kamra valued specialist companies from the automotive sector who could take a step further into aerospace component manufacturing. Chairman PAAPAM further said Imtiaz Rastgar, member PACB while introducing Pakistan Aerospace Council stressed on the need for cluster formation in the aerospace and high-tech sector to meet the demands of local and international markets. Moreover, Mashood said that PAAPAM members were keen and planning to visit the PACB Kamra to find how they could explore this new business opportunity.
