Former president Asif Ali Zardari has telephoned General Qamar Javed Bajwa and congratulated him on assuming his new assignment as the Chief of Army Staff. Aaj News reported on Tuesday night that Zardari assured him that his party and Pakistani nation would stand by the army. He vowed that support to Pakistan army for a peaceful Pakistan would continue.
