Dr Asim allowed to undergo hydrotherapy

An accountability court here on Wednesday allowed Pakistan People's Party leader Dr Asim Hussain to visit his hospital for hydro-therapy. He will visit the Ziauddin Hospital, which he owns, for the therapy. The facility is not available in all hospitals of the city. A petition in the court requested that Dr Asim be allowed to visit a hospital for hydro-therapy.
Dr Asim is currently under custody on a range of offences including corruption worth Rs 480 billion and terror facilitation case which allege that he provided medical treatment to terrorists at his private hospital. Dr Asim, this month, suffered a paralytic attack after which a medical board asked him to completely avoid walking.
