The Serbian central bank bought 10 million euros ($11.3 million)on the domestic currency market on Thursday to stem dinar gains, it said. The bank said in a statement it intervened to prevent excessive fluctuation of the exchange rate of the dinar against the euro, a preferred foreign currency in the European Union candidate country.
