RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 23,501.36 points with a positive change of 233.26 and volume of 117,656,600 shares. High and Low were 23,528.52 and 23,265.18 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 22 were up, 6 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 206,167,710 shares. Total companies traded were 402 of which 242 were positive, 141 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 31,810,850 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 28,028,180 shares.
