The Punjab University College of Pharmacy has obtained ISO - 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certifications. The TUV Austria Bureau of Inspection and Certification has awarded the Certificate to the College at a ceremony held at the Bureau's office, said Rashad Mehr. Imran Tariq received the certification on behalf of the college management.
The Department of Pharmacy was upgraded in 1979 to the level of Faculty and later converted into a college. The Punjab University itself is the oldest and largest public university in Pakistan having approximately 30,000 students, was established in 1882, he added.
Mehr said that ISO 9001 is the world's best-known quality management standard and the most widely used leadership model, based on a philosophy of continuous improvement. It is an excellent tool to improve your business and leadership in all organisations. An ISO 9001 certificate indicates that your company is functioning effectively in a systematic and customer-oriented way.
