ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Spokesman on Saturday said that Saudi Government has made bio-metric verification mandatory for the Hajj Pilgrims. In a statement, he said that Hajj Pilgrims will not be able to leave for Saudi Arabia without bio metric verification.
He said that Children under 6 years old and older than 80 years of age exempted from biometric. He said Bio-metric verification will be conducted by Saudi government's designated company "TRUST".
He said that the Fingerprint / biotechnology facility will be provided free of charge to all the Hajj Pilgrims The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a directive and bio-metric schedule for the Hajj pilgrims. The ministry also issued instructions for the fingerprint / biometric verification according to their schedule.
The schedule information will be shared through Mobile Messenger, Website and Hajj Helpline number with Hajj Pilgrims. The ministry of Religious Affairs also started sending mobile to Hajj Pilgrims in this regard.
Hajj pilgrims also directed to bring original ID card, bank invoices and passport photocopy for bio metric verification. The Hajj pilgrims and only according to their schedule reach the TRUST office: said spokesperson Religious Affairs.
