ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said Friday that the New Islamabad Airport bridge was completely safe for journey and there were no cracks in it.

In a press statement issued here, CCA spokesman said that after a thorough inspection, it was learned that there were no cracks in the bridge.

However, he added that there were some minor road cracks, which was a normal matter and could be witnessed in major roads.

The authority would soon start working to repair these road-cracks, the statement added.
