World’s longest-serving Pakistani ambassador Jamsheed Marker passes away
Pakistani veteran diplomat Jamsheed Marker passed away on Thursday in the metropolitan.
Apart from serving as an ambassador to the United States, the 95-year-old Marker also served as an ambassador to other countries over the period of three decades. His name is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for serving as an ambassador to more than a dozen countries. He also got the recognition in the books for being world’s longest-serving ambassador.

The veteran ambassador was fluent in English, Urdu, Gujarati, French, German and Russian. Markar used to be a radio cricket match commentator.
