DEHRADUN: Batsman Samiullah Shenwari hit an unbeaten 33 to lift Afghanistan to 145 for six against Bangladesh in the third and final Twenty20 international on Thursday.
The Afghans, who have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, were kept in check by a disciplined Bangladesh bowling attack but Shenwari's 28-ball knock gave them a competitive total at Dehradun.
Left-arm spinner Nazmul Islam and paceman Abu Jayed claimed two wickets each. Bangladesh now require 146 for a consolation win.
