ISLAMABAD: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has been placed under the Prime Minister's Office after the Federal Cabinet approved on May 29.
"Consequent upon the above placement, the subject NDMA shall stand deleted from the list of subjects of Climate Change Division under schedule-II to the rules of business 1973," a notification said on Thursday.
Federal Cabinet had also approved the deletion of subject "synthetic fibre development and application center and plastic technology center Karachi" from the list of functions of Textile Division.
In another notification, Federal Cabinet had approved on May 29 to include "Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences" in schedule-III to rule of business 1973, as an attached department of Capital Administration and Development Division.
