LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Spokesperson Marriyum Aurengzeb on Wednesday expressed the optimism that the PML-N considered as country's most popular political party would win next general elections with a thumping majority.

"International media reports and independent surveys reveal that only Muslim League-Nawaz will emerge as sole victorious in July 25, 2018 election," she added.

Speaking to media-persons here she said, Nawaz League was the only party which served Pakistan and its people selflessly during last five years and by the grace of Allah Almighty, they would continue to serve after winning the upcoming election. She said, the PML-N would award party tickets to those only who were loyal and stood with the party in the odd time.

Marriyum who was also a former Information Minister said a systematic procedure was being opted for awarding tickets, adding the PML-N's parliamentary board was interviewing aspirant candidates and after thorough process, tickets would be distributed among deserving candidates. She said, fair, free and on time elections were people's demand, adding no one could get the election postponed.

Marriyum told a questioner that opponents had been levelling baseless and illogical allegations against Shebaz Sharif but his (Shehbaz) five year's performance was before everyone.

She said, electricity produced by Punjab was being used by whole of Pakistan. "It is a matter of great pleasure for the people that terrorism has been eliminated once for all and people live in peace," Marriyum opined.

About Maryam Nawaz, she said, only the party would decide that from where she would contest the poll.

She maintianed that PTI chief Imran Khan did nothing except to play politics of accusations.
