All political parties united on national issues: Jhagra

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that all political parties were united on national issues as today the National Assembly unanimously passed an amendment bill seeking merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Talking to PTV, he termed it a historic day in the country.

He said the credit of FATA merger goes to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government as it had shown seriousness and evolved a consensus on the issue.

To a query, he urged all political parties to work for the promotion and strengthening of democracy, adding that in democratic system, everyone had the right to give their point of view.
