PPP to ensure equal share of all provinces in CPEC

PESHAWAR: Deputy Chairman Senate Salim Mandviwalla Thursday said PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari gave Gwadar to China during PPP government with a view Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces would become prosperous.
Addressing PPP workers’ convention in Dir, he said CPEC project was initiated by Asif Ali Zardari for development and prosperity across the country, adding that until now the improvement and prosperity was coming only in one province.
He said if PPP would come to power after upcoming general elections, it would ensure equal share of all provinces in mega project of CPEC so that the people of all areas could be benefitted from it.
The Deputy Chairman said that by giving party ticket to Beharmand Tangi in Senate polls, PPP proved that it was indeed the party and representative of poor people.
He said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto would visit Dir after Eid, adding that Dir Upper was a stronghold of PPP and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto always considered it as her second house.
