PESHAWAR: Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam Thursday said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government by extending judicial system to FATA had proved that it was committed to implementing FATA reforms in letter and spirit.
Addressing public gathering in Swat, he said that the people of FATA had right to move court for their issues, adding that PMLN would bring FATA into mainstream by undertaking development projects in the area.
He said provision of Rs. 10 billion to FATA during the next ten year would usher a new era of development in FATA besides changing the fate of already deprived people of the area.
Muqam said it would strengthen the democracy if FATA comes into mainstream, adding that people of FATA would enjoy the same facilities and rights which were being enjoyed by people of Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore and other big cities.
He appreciated the acumen of political and military leadership for bringing FATA into mainstream.
Muqam said that overwhelming welcome to be given to PMLN leader Nawaz Sharif during his visit to Manshera on May 6, Shangla on May 9, Bunner on May 12 and Chitral on May 14 to address public gatherings.
On the occasion, PTI’s hundreds of workers from Khawaza Khela announced joining of PMLN and expressed confidence in the central and provincial leadership of PML-N.
