SADIQABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said the PML-N government had completed a record number of development projects in the country.
Addressing a public meeting here, he said the PML-N laid a network of motorways and roads, besides uplifting health and education sectors, and restoring peace in Karachi.
He said the PML-N had the credit of ending load-shedding by adding electricity into the system that was unprecedented in the country's history.
Nawaz said the motorway from Multan to Karachi was being constructed which would also facilitate the masses of Sadiqabad and adjoining areas.
"We can make Pakistan an Asian Tiger within ten years. We will provide Sehat cards to the poor after winning the elections besides providing them shelter," he added.
The people of Pakistan, he said, were with the PML-N because of its services for them.
Nawaz said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) was fooling the people by doing nothing for them. The PTI leadership could only play cricket and had no ability to do politics.
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz speaking on the occasion, said Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for not taking salary from his son and holding an 'Iqama'.
She said the people of Sadiqabad were loyal to the PML-N leadership. They were politically mature and would not support the turncoats and reject them in the next general election, she added.
