Labour day celebrated in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Like other cities of the country Labour Day was commemorated here on Tuesday for paying tribute to the Martyrs of Chicago.

Separate rallies were taken out in different parts of the city by Pakistan People's Party, Rickshaw Labor Unions, Irrigation union and Wapda employees union on the occasion.

A big rally was arranged by the All Ittefaq Rickshaw Drivers Union which started from Khayyam Chowk and culminated at Company Bagh here.

While PPP rally led by former state minister Tasneem Ahmad Qureshi and Malik Hamid Nawaz Awan was taken out from people's secretariat to Company Bagh.

At the end of rallies the leaders addressed the participants and paid rich tribute to the martyrs of Chicago.
