Captain Sarfraz approached by match fixer | Brecorder.comPakistan cricket skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, has demanded the international teams to visit Pakistan, as the skipper was of the view “teams don’t have any excuses left for not coming to Pakistan anymore.”

"I don't think teams have any excuses left for not coming to Pakistan anymore. Even the crowd turnout today was massive despite this match being the third match. The people of Karachi have proved to the world that cricket can be played in Pakistan. So, the teams should not be looking for any explanations to not to tour Pakistan,” stated Sarfraz, while talking to media after the match.

The national skipper stated that international cricket will return to the country this year or the next year.

"An ICC World XI side has come to Pakistan, we have had PSL final, before that Sri Lanka had come to Pakistan. So, I expect no team will be using security concern as an excuse in the future. This year or the next year, cricket will come back to Pakistan," stated Sarfraz.

Sarfraz dismissed the views that the West Indies were a ‘weak team,’ while praising his side youngsters for upping their game.

“I have been listening to people say that a weak side had arrived for the series. We had asked West Indies to tour Pakistan. We played better cricket and credit must be given to our side. Our players deserve to be appreciated for their performances because they played exceptionally well. Every player like Babar Azam, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Amir, and Hussain Talat, performed well,” he said.

Pakistan cruise to a 3-0 series win against visitors the West Indies, after the hosts outclassed them by eight wickets in the third T20I last night.
