ISLAMABAD: Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage on Monday congratulated the newly elected office bearers of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS).
In her message of felicitation, the minister said that election of Hameed Haroon and Sarmad Ali as President and Secretary General of APNS respectively was manifestation of the fact that newspaper industry had again reposed trust in their leadership.
She said that APNS was representative forum of newspaper industry and the government would continue to help and facilitate it in fulfillment of its obligations.
She expressed the hope that newly elected office bearers of the APNS would strive for betterment of the newspaper industry, resolution of its problems and for further improvement of government, media relations.
