WARSAW: Poland's central budget posted a surplus of 4.5 billion zlotys ($1.32 billion) in the first two months of 2018, the finance ministry said on Friday.
The ministry said in a statement that value added tax (VAT) revenue for the period fell due to the high base from the previous year. In February alone VAT revenue rose by 12.3 percent year-on-year, the ministry said.
