CADD displaying photographs, sayings of national heroes on school walls: Maiza Hameed

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has started a new project under which the photographs and sayings of national heroes are being displayed on the boundary walls and class rooms of public schools in the federal capital to educate students about the achievements of these heroes.
The purpose of this project “Wall of Fame” is to provide useful information and motivation to the children, said Parliamentary Secretary for CADD, Maiza Hameed on Wednesday.
In an exclusive talk with APP, Maiza Hameed said that the project of wall display has been initiated under the Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme which will surely play pivotal role in benefiting the students.
Parliamentary Secretary further said that PM education reforms programme would enable the public sector schools of the federal capital to compete with the private sector schools.
Under the reforms programme, she said that besides providing missing facilities in the federal capital schools the quality of education is also being improved.
Minister for CADD Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Advisor PM Reforms Programme Ali Raza are paying special attention to the project, she added.
The ICT public sector schools have started producing better results after implementation of the prime minister education reforms programme, Maiza Hameed remarked.
The idea for the upgradation of all 423 schools of ICT came from the Leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Maryam Nawaz she said adding that she took special interest especially in the girls education.
