SUKKUR: The people of Sukkur like other parts of the country will also celebrate the Pakistan Day on March 23 (Friday) with national zeal and great enthusiasm.
On this momentous day, people will renew their pledge to work hard for progress, peace, development and prosperity of the country.
The day will dawn with special prayers for progress and prosperity of the country and eternal peace of the martyrs, workers/leaders of Pakistan movement in Sukkur.
The national flag hoisting ceremonies would also be held on important public and private buildings. Special flag hoisting ceremony would also be held at Pakistan Navy Recruitment Center Sukkur, Government Girls Degree College, Islamia Arts College and other educational institutes of the Sukkur region.
Various government, political, cultural, social and other organizations will arrange various programmes to mark the day in a befitting manner.
The print media would also publish special supplements while local FM channels would air special programs, interviews, documentaries and talks shows to highlight importance of the Pakistan Day.
