Australian star believes Mohammad Sami can still play for Pakistan

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Sami has emerged as a revelation in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). Playing for Islamabad United, the 37-year-old has played a vital role in the progress of his side in the tournament.
Sami’s ability to bowl at express pace of over 140 kph, added with consistent line and length, has impressed former Australian batsman Dean Jones. The One Day International (ODI) specialist and United’s coach ‘honestly believes’ that Sami can still represent Pakistan in international cricket.
"Sami still has a chance, believe it or not, to do something for Pakistan in the future and I honestly believe that," said Jones, quoted Khaleej Times.
"He always plays well for us. I understand what Sami is like. He is an amazing athlete who can bowl 140-145 at this age," he added.
Sami has been impressive in this season's PSL, picking up 10 wickets in nine fixtures. His best bowling figures this season has been 3-21 against the Lahore Qalandars at Sharjah, a match that went into a Super Over.
The veteran pacer was also vital in his side victory over Karachi Kings last night (Sunday) at the PSL Qualifier, after he claimed two wickets for 20 runs, including a stunning catch of his own bowling.
