SWAT: Advisor to the Prime Minister Engineer Amir Muqam Sunday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would win next general election on the basis of its performance.

The popularity of the PML-N could be gauged from the fact that its supreme leader former prime minister was given a warm welcome by the people in every nook and cranny of the country, which was also because of the progressive policies adopted by his government for the betterment of the country, he added.

He was addressing a public gathering here at Dherai, Kabal tehsil, where he inaugurated Sui gas supply project in the area. District Nazim Muhammad Ali Shah, Qamoos khan, Habib Ali Shah and other local leaders were also present on the occasion.

Amir Muqam, who is also president of PML-N KP, said the people of Swat loved Nawaz Sharif and they would vote for the PML-N in the next general election. The PML-N during its current tenure had launched many mega development across the country and it would initiate more projects after coming into power again, he added.

He said the PML-N was the only party which could steer the country out of crises.

Muqam said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan had no agenda and basis to ask the people to vote for him as his party's government had done nothing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said Imran claimed of building 350 dams in KP, which was contrary to ground realty. Not even a single dam was constructed in the province, he added.

Muqam alleged that the PTI government had done nothing to solve problems being faced by the KP people. It had rather added to their miseries, which would take years to remove, he added.

He said the far flung areas of Malakand division were ignored and the PML-N if voted to power, would bring a real change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Muqam said on one hand Imran criticised Pakistan Peoples Party leader Asif Zardari terming him the most corrupt persosn and on the other he supported his party in the Senate election.
