LAHORE: A seminar focusing on the educational future and welfare of underprivileged and talented youth was held at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in collaboration with Aspiring Futures USA.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Chief Minister’s Task Force on Prisons Rana Mannan Khan, leadership of the Lahore Chamber, noted defense analyst Babar Alauddin, former LCCI president Mian Abu Zar Shad, and Uzma Qureshi, a prominent US-based financial professional and philanthropist.

Addressing the audience, defense analyst Babar Alauddin commended ‘Aspiring Futures’ for its impactful work in supporting deserving students, highlighting that such earnest initiatives are vital for securing the nation’s future.

The leadership of the Lahore Chamber expressed strong appreciation for the welfare mission, affirming their commitment to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the organization.

Chairman of CM Task Force Rana Mannan Khan assured complete support and official facilitation at the highest administrative levels.

Uzma Qureshi, Founder and President of Aspiring Futures USA, stated that Pakistan stressed that underprivileged youth primarily require adequate resources and guidance. She emphasized that their objective extends beyond merely providing scholarships; it focuses on identifying and eliminating whatever specific barrier a child faces in their educational journey, thereby bringing them directly into the mainstream of education to become empowered, self-reliant citizens.

Concluding the event, Haider Munir, journalist and advisor to Aspiring Futures, thanked all the distinguished guests for their presence and steadfast support of the mission. Later, the LCCI presented a commemorative shield to Uzma Qureshi in recognition of her services in education and social welfare.
