KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, BGS Barbados, Orca-02, Ocean Pioneer and Bolan carrying Container, Palm oil, Chemicals and Mogas, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and FOTCO oil Terminal on 27th Oct.
Meanwhile two more ships, Global Eternity and Shandong Redwood with Steel Coil and LNG also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, IVS Trader, Ocean Pioneer and BSG Barbados expected to sail on Wednesday.
Cargo volume of 112,093 tones comprising 85,378 tones imports cargo and 26,715 export cargo carried in 2,600 Containers (1,500 TEUs Imports & 1,100 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 18 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Anastasia, DS Cougar, Shandong Redwood and Simple Honesty carrying Soya Bean Seed, Chemicals, LNG and Coal are expected to take berths FAP, EVTL, EETL and PIBT respectively on Wednesday 28th October, 2026.
