LAHORE: In a monumental step toward empowering Pakistan’s cricketing future at the grassroots level, the Allied Bank Limited (ABL) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for promoting the PCB Talent Hunt Programme for Schools 2026-27.

This agreement has been brought to life through the leadership of Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi and ABL President and CEO Aizid Razzaq Gill.

The MoU was formally signed at the Gaddafi Stadium with PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmed Syed and ABL Chief North CRBG Abid Anwar penning the agreement in the distinguished presence of Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi and CEO ABL Aizid Razzaq Gill.

Under this landmark partnership, backed by a substantial funding investment of PKR 100 million by ABL, school children across 100 participating districts and 1,400 schools nationwide will be equipped with professional playing kits, top-tier equipment, essential logistics, and clothing, thereby establishing a robust framework to discover and nurture the next generation of cricketing legends.

Cementing their shared dedication to the nation’s sporting future both organizations have mutually pledged to extend this synergistic alliance in years to come, fostering long-term development of grassroots cricket across Pakistan.
