ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Maldives, Iruthisham Adam, on Saturday.

Both leaders discussed preparations for the forthcoming visit of the President of Maldives, Dr Mohamed Muizzu, to Pakistan.

They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan–Maldives relations and agreed to remain in close coordination to ensure a substantive and productive visit.
