Mobile police station launched in Sialkot

SIALKOT: In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) and directives of the Inspector General of Police (Punjab), a mobile police station has been launched in the district to facilitate citizens, particularly those living in remote and rural areas, here on Saturday.

According to police spokesperson Khurrum Shehzad, the mobile facility would enable citizens to access police station services, Khidmat Markaz facilities and driving licensing services at the local level.

He said the mobile police station would receive applications, register First Information Reports (FIRs) according to prescribed procedures and issue e-tags. It would also provide learner permits, driving license renewal, e-sign services and driving road tests.
