FAISALABAD: President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), Arif Ehsan Malik, has welcomed the appointment of Inam-ur-Rehman as the new Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Faisalabad Region, expressing hope that under his leadership, law and order, rule of law and protection of the lives and property of citizens will be further strengthened.
He said Faisalabad is an important industrial, commercial and export hub of the country, where millions of people are directly or indirectly associated with business and industrial activities. He stressed that peace, security and a safe environment are of fundamental importance for creating a conducive business climate in the city.
Arif Ehsan Malik said that strong and effective coordination between the police and the business community not only helps promote business activities but also plays an important role in preventing crime and ensuring prompt resolution of citizens’ problems.
The FCCI President said the business community hoped that the new RPO, keeping in view the industrial and commercial importance of Faisalabad, would further strengthen coordination between the police and the business community. He assured that the Chamber of Commerce was ready to extend all possible cooperation to the police to further improve law and order in the city and provide a secure environment to the business community.
Arif Ehsan Malik congratulated Inam-ur-Rehman on assuming his responsibilities as RPO Faisalabad Region and expressed his best wishes for his tenure. He also expressed hope that under his leadership, the policing system would be further improved and timely justice and protection would be ensured for citizens.
He also invited RPO Inam-ur-Rehman to visit the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry at his earliest convenience.
