KARACHI: The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) on Saturday launched an anti-encroachment operation in Surjani Town, demolishing illegal structures and reclaiming a sizeable portion of its land.
The operation was carried out in Sectors 13/3 and 10/7 of Surjani Township, including Khanau Brohi Goth, on the directives of KDA Director General Asif Jan Siddiqui, a KDA Spokesman said.
The action was supervised by Director Estate and Enforcement Syed Zain Shah, with KDA teams removing illegal constructions and encroachments from the authority’s land.
Siddiqui said illegal occupation and construction on KDA land would not be tolerated.
