Gold price per tola drops Rs3,500 in Pakistan

  • International rate of gold declines by $35 to reach $4,605 per ounce

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs483,036 after a decline of Rs3,500 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs414,125 after it fell by Rs3,001, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Tuesday, gold price per tola reached Rs486,536 after a decline of Rs600 during the day. The gold market was closed on Wednesday on account of Eid-Mild-un-Nabi holiday.

The international rate of gold declined by $35 to reach $4,605 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

However, the price of silver increased by Rs50 to reach Rs7,329 per tola.
