LAHORE: The Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD) has invited applications from farmers for the provision of 10,000 tractors of 50-65 horsepower under the Chief Minister’s Green Tractor Programme, with a subsidy of Rs 750,000 per tractor.

According to the spokesperson for the Agriculture Department Punjab, farmers from computerized Mauzas (villages) can apply through the programme portal, gts.punjab.gov.pk, or by visiting the official website of the Department.

Farmers from non-computerized Mauzas can download the application form the official website or obtain it free of cost from the offices of the Agriculture Extension Department, said the spokesman.

The completed application form, along with all required information, should be submitted to the office of the concerned Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension). The last date for submission of applications is August 31, 2026.

For further information and guidance, farmers may contact the relevant offices of the Agriculture (Extension) Department Punjab or call the Agriculture Helpline, the spokesman concluded.
