KARACHI: Alkhidmat is set to host Pakistan’s largest IT Graduation Convocation today at the UBL Sports Complex, where more than 10,000 graduates of the Bano Qabil Program will receive certificates for completing their IT courses.
All arrangements for the landmark event have been finalized, with hundreds of Alkhidmat volunteers deployed to manage the proceedings. Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, will attend as chief guest.
The convocation will feature participation from leading IT companies, and outstanding student projects will be showcased to highlight technical skills and innovation. Recruitment booths will be established at the venue, enabling graduates to connect directly with potential employers.
Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureshi inspected the UBL Sports Complex to review final preparations, meeting with volunteers and commending their commitment. CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig visited a project selection camp at Idara Noor-e-Haq, where shortlisted student projects were being evaluated for display.
Alkhidmat has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Alibaba, and registration facilities regarding the collaboration will be available at the event, creating networking and business opportunities for participants.
The ceremony will recognize students with certificates while providing a platform to present innovative projects developed through their learning. The convocation represents Alkhidmat’s efforts to lead a technological transformation by equipping Pakistan’s youth with market-driven digital skills.
