Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Thursday, mirroring international market gains, with per tola gold increasing by Rs3,600 to reach Rs433,836, reversing Wednesday's decline.

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Thursday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs433,836 after a gain of Rs3,600 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs371,944 after it increased by Rs3,086, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached Rs430,236 after a decline of Rs4,700 during the day.
The international rate of gold was up by $36 to reach $4,113 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs6,421 per tola.
