LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) organized a panel discussion titled “Digital Technologies for Business Transformation & Growth,” bringing together leading industry experts to discuss how emerging technologies are reshaping business models across Pakistan.
The session was chaired by Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol and convened by Malik Amer Salam, Convener Standing Committee, who highlighted the Chamber’s continued focus on fostering dialogue around innovation, digital adoption, and future-ready business practices.
The panel featured senior industry leaders from key sectors. Rizwan Ahmad, Head North at DHL Global Forwarding, shared insights on how digital logistics and supply chain tools are reducing delays, improving efficiency, and enhancing the global competitiveness of Pakistani exports by enabling faster and more transparent trade operations.
In his address, the LCCI President reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to promoting innovation-led growth. He stated that rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies are reshaping global commerce, and Pakistan must keep pace by adopting technology-driven strategies. He further stressed that economic policies must translate into tangible relief for the public, stressing that the real measure of progress lies in reducing inflation and improving everyday living conditions.
Awais Saeed, Country Head Pakistan at InDrive, highlighted how digital mobility platforms are transforming traditional transport systems by empowering both drivers and passengers with flexible pricing models, data-driven operations, and improved trust in cash-based markets.
Hazbar Khan, GM Digital Systems at CCL Pharma, said that digital transformation should be viewed as business transformation rather than a technology upgrade. He explained that organizations must focus on business outcomes such as efficiency, compliance, productivity, and decision-making driven by data, rather than isolated software implementation.
